Shu Qi (born April 16, 1976), originally named Lin Li Hui, is a Taiwanese actress and director. She gained widespread attention after starring in the film 'Love and Sex,' and was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress at the 33rd and 35th Golden Horse Awards for this film and 'The Legend of the Seven Brothers,' respectively, with the latter winning the award. She has been repeatedly nominated for the Best Actress at the Golden Horse Awards for films such as 'A Love of One's Own,' 'Millennium Mambo,' 'The Best of Times,' 'No Longer Alone,' 'Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons,' 'The Assassin,' and 'The Forgetful Village,' and won the Best Actress award at the 42nd Golden Horse Awards for 'The Best of Times.'
