Ding Ning (June 20, 1990—), a female table tennis player from Daqing, Heilongjiang, is a former member of the Chinese national women's table tennis team. She is the fifth woman to achieve a Grand Slam in table tennis, winning 21 world championship titles during her career. This surpasses her former teammates Zhang Yining and Li Xiaoxia, making her the second most decorated female player in Chinese team history after Wang Nan, who has won 24 world championships. Notably, during crucial moments in matches, Ding Ning often used the rare Tomahawk Serve, making it one of her signature techniques.
