Li Xuerui (born January 24, 1991) hails from Dadukou, Chongqing, and is a Chinese female badminton player. She won the gold medal in the women's singles at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games and ascended to the world No. 1 ranking in women's singles for the first time on December 20 of the same year.
