Park Geun-hye (Korean: 박근혜; born February 2, 1952) was the 18th President of South Korea and the eldest daughter of former President Park Chung-hee. She is the first female president in Korean constitutional history, the first president born after the outbreak of the Korean War, and the first 'second-generation president.' She is also the only president who has served as acting First Lady.
