Jeongguk Field, born on September 1, 1997, in Wanduck-dong, Busan, South Korea, is a South Korean male pop singer and dancer. He serves as the main vocalist, lead dancer, and sub-rapper of the boy group BTS. In June 2013, he debuted with the group by releasing their first single album '2 COOL 4 SKOOL' on the Mnet music show 'M! Countdown.' In September, the group released their first mini-album 'O!RUL8,2?' and later won the Best New Artist Award at the 5th Melon Music Awards in November.
