Yang Guimei (born September 6, 1959), a Taiwanese actress, has won the Golden Horse Award, Golden Bell Award, and the Best Actress Award at the Singapore International Film Festival. She is the first female actor in Taiwan to have her leading role featured in the Academy Awards, Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, and Berlin Film Festival. She has frequently collaborated with renowned directors such as Tsai Ming-liang, Ang Lee, John Woo, Li Hsing, Lin Cheng-sheng, and Wang Tung, achieving remarkable success in both the film and theater industries of Taiwan.
